Product Roadmap
Learn how ProductBridge helps you plan, prioritize, and share your product roadmap with feedback-backed insights and public or private visibility.
Plan with Confidence
The Product Roadmap in ProductBridge is where insights become action. You create roadmap items, link them to real user feedback, and prioritize based on demand — not assumptions. Share your roadmap publicly to build transparency, or keep it internal for team alignment.
Creating Roadmap Items
Add a Roadmap Item
Open Roadmap under Modules in the sidebar and click New Item. Enter a title, description, and select a status.
Link Feedback
Attach related feedback items to the roadmap entry. You can search by keyword, category, or feedback ID. ProductBridge also suggests relevant feedback based on the item's title and description.
Prioritize
Open the Prioritization view from the Roadmap header, pick a framework (RICE, ICE, Impact/Effort, or MoSCoW), and score the item — see Prioritization below.
Roadmap Statuses
Organize your roadmap with clear status columns that communicate progress:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Under Review | Evaluating feasibility and demand |
| Planned | Approved and scheduled for development |
| In Progress | Actively being built |
| Completed | Shipped and available to users |
Customize status labels and add your own stages in Settings → Modules → Statuses (Manage Statuses) to match your team's workflow. Roadmap boards are configured under Settings → Modules → Roadmap.
Linking Feedback to Roadmap Items
Every roadmap item can have feedback linked to it. This connection is bidirectional:
- From the Roadmap — Click Link Feedback on any item to search and attach feedback
- From the Feedback Inbox — Select feedback items and click Add to Roadmap to link them to an existing or new roadmap entry
- From Insights — Promote an Observation to the roadmap; its supporting feedback comes with it
When a roadmap item's status changes, users who submitted linked feedback can be notified automatically — closing the feedback loop.
Prioritization
Click the Prioritization button in the Roadmap header to open the prioritization table. Every roadmap item appears as a row; pick a framework, enter its parameters for each item, and ProductBridge computes the score and ranks the list.
Four frameworks are available:
| Framework | Parameters you enter | Score |
|---|---|---|
| RICE | Reach, Impact, Confidence (%), Effort | (Reach × Impact × Confidence) ÷ Effort |
| ICE | Impact, Confidence, Ease | Impact × Confidence × Ease |
| Impact/Effort | Impact, Effort | Impact ÷ Effort |
| MoSCoW | Category: Must have, Should have, Could have, Won't have | Must = 4, Should = 3, Could = 2, Won't = 1 |
You set every parameter manually, directly in the table. Items missing a required parameter score 0 and sort last. You can switch frameworks at any time — each item stores its parameters for all four, so nothing is lost when you change perspective.
Priority comes from the framework, not a separate priority picker. Sort by score to see what to build next, or sort by newest, oldest, or last modified.
Public and Private Roadmaps
Share your roadmap on your public portal's Roadmap tab at https://{your-subdomain}.productbridge.io/roadmap (or on your custom domain). Users see planned features, current progress, and completed items — building trust and reducing "when will this ship?" questions.
Keep your roadmap private for internal team use. Only workspace members with the appropriate role can view and edit roadmap items. Use this for early-stage planning before committing publicly.
