Chrome Extension

Capture feedback from any webpage using the ProductBridge Chrome Extension. Highlight text, annotate screenshots, and submit feedback directly to your project.

Overview

The ProductBridge Chrome Extension lets you capture feedback from any webpage — competitor reviews, social media posts, support forums, or internal tools. Highlight text, take annotated screenshots, and submit feedback to ProductBridge without switching tabs.

Prerequisites

  • Google Chrome or a Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc)
  • A ProductBridge account with at least one project

Install the Extension

Download from Chrome Web Store

Visit the ProductBridge Chrome Extension page and click Add to Chrome. Confirm the permissions when prompted.

Click the ProductBridge icon in your browser toolbar and sign in with your ProductBridge account credentials. The extension connects to your workspace automatically.

Select a Project

Choose the default project where captured feedback should be sent. You can change this per submission.

Capture Feedback

Highlight any text on a webpage, right-click, and select Send to ProductBridge. The selected text becomes the feedback content, and the page URL is attached automatically.

You can add a title, select a board, and add tags before submitting.

Configure Settings

Access extension settings by clicking the ProductBridge icon and selecting the gear icon:

SettingDescription
Default projectThe project where feedback is sent by default
Default boardThe board to pre-select when submitting feedback

Include page titleAutomatically use the page title as the feedback title
Keyboard shortcutSet a custom shortcut for quick capture (default: Ctrl+Shift+F)

Set up a keyboard shortcut for quick capture. Press Ctrl+Shift+F (customizable) to open the feedback form instantly from any page.

How It Works

Once installed:

  1. Feedback captured via the extension is sent to your ProductBridge project immediately
  2. Each item is tagged with "via Chrome Extension" and includes the source URL
  3. Screenshots are stored in your ProductBridge media storage and linked to the feedback post
  4. All captured feedback flows into Feedback Intelligence for analysis
  5. You can filter by source in the feedback inbox to see all extension-captured items

The Chrome Extension works on any webpage, including pages behind authentication. No data is sent to ProductBridge until you explicitly submit feedback.
