AppSumo Integration

Connect ProductBridge to AppSumo to import and analyze product reviews from your AppSumo listing.

Overview

The AppSumo integration imports reviews from your AppSumo product listing into ProductBridge. Track what lifetime deal customers say about your product, monitor sentiment after launches, and analyze AppSumo feedback alongside your other channels.

Prerequisites

An active AppSumo product listing with at least one review
Your AppSumo listing URL or API credentials
A ProductBridge project to receive imported reviews

Connect AppSumo

Open Integration Settings

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > AppSumo in your ProductBridge dashboard and click Connect.

Enter Listing Details

Provide your AppSumo product URL or enter your AppSumo partner API credentials. ProductBridge validates the connection and displays your listing details.

Configure Sync

Choose your sync frequency (daily or weekly) and whether to backfill existing reviews or start with new ones only.

Activate

Click Enable to start importing reviews. ProductBridge begins pulling reviews immediately based on your settings.

Configure Settings

Backfill	On, Off	Import historical reviews on first sync
Minimum rating	1-5	Only import reviews at or below a specific taco rating

AppSumo reviews often come in waves after deal launches. Enable daily sync during launch periods to capture feedback in real time.

How It Works

Once connected:

AppSumo reviews are imported on your configured schedule and tagged with "via AppSumo"
Taco ratings are converted to sentiment scores (4-5 = positive, 3 = neutral, 1-2 = negative)
Review text is analyzed by AI to extract specific topics and feature mentions
All imported reviews flow into Feedback Intelligence for categorization and trend analysis
You can compare AppSumo sentiment with other review platforms and direct feedback channels
