Capterra Integration

Connect ProductBridge to Capterra to import and analyze reviews from your Capterra product listing.

Overview

The Capterra integration imports reviews from your Capterra product listing into ProductBridge. Star ratings are automatically converted to sentiment scores, and review text is categorized by topic — so you can track public perception alongside your direct feedback.

Prerequisites

  • A published Capterra product listing with at least one review
  • Your Capterra listing URL
  • A ProductBridge project to receive imported reviews

Connect Capterra

Open Integration Settings

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Capterra in your ProductBridge dashboard and click Connect.

Enter Listing URL

Provide your Capterra listing URL (e.g., https://www.capterra.com/p/your-product). ProductBridge validates the URL and displays your listing details.

Configure Import Settings

Choose your sync frequency (daily or weekly) and whether to backfill existing reviews or start fresh.

Activate

Click Enable to start importing. ProductBridge begins pulling reviews immediately.

Configure Settings

Customize how Capterra reviews are processed:

SettingOptionsDescription
Sync frequencyDaily, WeeklyHow often new reviews are pulled
BackfillOn, OffImport historical reviews on first sync
Sentiment mappingAuto, ManualHow star ratings map to sentiment scores
Category filterAll, SpecificImport all reviews or only specific star ratings

Enable backfill on your first sync to get a historical baseline, then switch to daily imports for ongoing monitoring.

How It Works

Once connected:

  1. Capterra reviews are imported on your configured schedule and tagged with "via Capterra"
  2. Star ratings (1-5) are converted to sentiment scores: 4-5 = positive, 3 = neutral, 1-2 = negative
  3. Review text is analyzed by AI to extract specific topics and feature mentions
  4. All imported reviews flow into Feedback Intelligence for analysis
  5. You can compare Capterra sentiment with other review platforms and direct feedback channels
